ML Winter Refresher
The ML winter refresher course is for anyone who has already completed their winter ML training and is looking to do their winter ML assessment in the future. Or perhaps you have already passed your assessment some time ago but have not been out much lately and are looking to brings your skills up to date.
Perhaps you lack confidence in one or more areas of the syllabus and you know you need extra input in those areas. Or maybe you did your training course a long time ago and despite regular days out in winter would just like someone to take another look at your skills before investing a lot of hard earned time and money on the assessment.
The most common areas people like further help with are Navigation, group security and snow knowledge. We can however look at any aspect of the syllabus and can also arrange to go out after dark if poor visibility navigation is a weakness.
For the ML winter refresher course you should already have completed your winter ML training course and be looking to do your winter ML assessment in the near future. Alternatively you may already hold your winter ML but lack confidence through lack of current time in the mountains. This course can be used to rebuild your skills and confidence so you feel happy to use your award again.
