Mountain Walking Courses and Guided Mountain Walks in Snowdonia, North Wales. Rock Climbing & Mountaineering Guiding & Instruction in Snowdonia.

Mountain Walking Courses, Tuition, Instruction and Guiding based in Snowdonia, North Wales.

North Wales has some of the most accessible mountain walking in the UK. It is easily possible to be walking along a high ridge-line only and a couple of hours after leaving the car. Despite being a compact mountain area there is great variety in the landscape from the rounded grassy slopes of the Carneddau, to the rugged rocky peaks of Tryfan and the Glyders and the the classic airy exposed ridges of the Snowdon Horse-shoe. There are also plenty of quieter less frequented parts if its solitude your looking for. As well as the amazing views there is much more to look at. Evidence of the slate mining industry is never far away and provides a fascinating industrial backdrop to these mountains. Cwm Idwal is a nationally protected site for its flora and its geology and geomorphology, while herds of wild ponies are often seen in the Carneddau. Whether you want instruction so you can go away with the confidence to go walking for yourself or if you’d prefer someone else to take charge with guided ascents of classic summits Climb-Mountains can help.
