The majority of Climb-Mountains work in North Wales takes place within the Snowdonia National Park, which covers over 800 square miles and when it was designated in 1951 was Wales’ first National Park. It encompasses the major mountain groups of Snowdon, Tryfan, Glyders and the Carneddau as well as dozens of excellent and varied crags.
Snowdonia National Park is well connected by road and rail links to all parts of the country. Once your booking is confirmed we will agree a suitable meeting point that is convenient for all parties for the chosen venue for the day. For folk arriving by car this will normally be one of the local villages or a car park close to where we intend to access the crags or mountains. Clear instructions will be sent at the time. For anyone that intends to arrive by public transport please let us know well in advance as it should be possible to meet you from your train or coach.
